Doesn’t it seem like iOS 14 was just released yesterday? But here we are, eagerly awaiting the release date of iOS 15. Normally, we’d have a fairly good answer to the question of when iOS 15 will be released to everyone, but as with everything else in this world, COVID-19 has thrown a wrench into Apple’s regular release schedule.

If things get back to normal in 2021, experts predict that iOS 15 will be released in September. It’s speculated that iOS 15 will be compatible with iPhone 7 and all subsequent models, which means if you have an iPhone 6 or below, it might be a good time to sell your smartphone and upgrade to a newer version. (Yes, this absolutely was a shameless plugin for our iPhone trade-in program!)

What else do we know about iOS 15? Unfortunately, not much. Rumors include a presentation mode for FaceTime, the availability of widgets on the lock screen, and increased control over your default apps. As the release date approaches, we’ll undoubtedly learn more details and insider knowledge.
