The market for budget phones is heating up and the OnePlus Z is giving the iPhone SE a run for its money.

The OnePlus Z, slated for release this summer, is believed to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G CPU, which comes complete with 5G capabilities. Essentially, if you want to use a 5G signal, the OnePlus Z is the choice for you. The iPhone SE is a great budget-friendly phone, but as the world makes the shift to 5G, it may not be worth the investment.

What else do we know about the OnePlus Z? First, it might not be called the OnePlus Z at all—some reports state that the name will be OnePlus Nord. There’s also a rumor that it may feature four rear cameras, which would be amazing for a budget phone, but experts are skeptical that this will be the case.

The design and display is likely to borrow from the OnePlus 8 lineup, but expect some differences to account for the lower price point—namely, an LCD screen instead of AMOLED panels and a smaller display. Leakers and OnePlus enthusiasts are also speculating that the OnePlus Z will have Warp Charge 30T technology for quick charging and a 4000 mAh battery, giving you the charge you need to get through an entire day.

If you’re currently in the market for a budget phone, our advice is to hold tight for the OnePlus Z release and then compare its specs to the iPhone SE. The OnePlus Z may be worth the wait.
