The search engine giant, Google, has been working closely with Samsung on their Galaxy Fold and has even developed its new Android Q software to support folding phone screens.  Recently, it has been confirmed that they have been prototyping their very own designs for a folding smartphone. They have patents for a smartphone that can fold into two or three parts.  However, they have no intention of bringing this concept to market any time in the near future. They believe that there is no real demand for this product yet because it has no practical use. Instead, they will continue to focus on increasing their sales and continue to develop their flagship Pixel device.
