For those of you that aren’t familiar with Snapchat’s augmented reality glasses, called the Spectacles, the company is releasing their third version of this product. After a not so successful turnout with the previous two, they went back to the drawing board hoping to gain more traction this time around. These glasses have been redesigned to give them a more slim and sleek feel and will also add a secondary HD camera, which will allow depth perception for the first time. Similar to previous models, these glasses allow the user to capture photos and videos with the press of a button located on top of the glasses. Photos and videos that have been captured can be synced to your phone and exported or sent to friends. The device is said to have 4GB of storage, allowing for approximately 100 videos or 1,200 photos. There will be two colors available, carbon and mineral, and the Spectacles 3 will go on sale in November for $380 (more than double the price of the previous version).
